Certificates contain the identification data of the person and his/her public key in an electronic form.
The public key allows to link, undoubtedly, a natural person and data for verification of electronic signature and to verify the person's identity.
The period of validity of the certificate is five years, and after expiry, persons between 18 and 65 years of age are required to apply for a new identity card.
All certificates issued to persons were signed by HRIDCA issuer. Certificate by HRIDCA issuer is signed by root issuer AKDCA Root.
PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) infrastructure has been established in AKD that provides certification for eID.
The validity of a certificate is a prerequisite for the use of electronic services via eID. The certification service provider allows the verification of revoked certificates at the following addresses:
